Event Day Plans

Schedule of Events

(Times subject to change)
  • 5:30– Check-in
    • Drop off your pre-loved homemade garment and peruse garment-swap station.
        • Visit our arch, selfie-station, and other room activities
    • Complete your bingo card to obtain extra raffle tickets, make your raffle selections early!
    • Grab a bev/app.
  • 7:00-7:30 pm– Raffle winners to be announced around this time.
  • 7:45 pm– Catwalk
      • You will have received your runway detail cards at check-in. Have them ready with you and provide to the host when it’s your turn to walk.
      • There will be additional cards at the event if you decide to walk last minute.
      • It is preferred that you email us ahead of time with your details, but we understand some of us make game-time decisions!
  • 8:00pm– The floor opens up for dancing and continued fun!
  • 9:30pm– The event comes to an end. We hope you will have enjoyed your first, large-scale Boston Frocktails event!

We hope you’ll join us in strutting your stuff on our catwalk!

We’ll be rolling out the red carpet for you to share your makes. We hope you consider partaking in the event’s runway fashion show. It’s one of the highlights of a Frocktails, and you won’t get the opportunity to do this often! Only have a partially me-made garment? That’s fine! Let us know if it’s the cute knit sweater you’re wearing that you’re showing off, or that me-made top paired with a store bought skirt. Please do! There is no pressure to be dressed head to toe in a me-made outfit, even one piece you’re wearing can be a reason to strut.

There will be a professional photographer capturing it all and we’ll share the photos after the event.

Garment Swap

  • You can bring one completed, gently used and clean, garment that you’d like to re-home.
  • Please bring a hanger with it if you can. If it’s something like a knit sweater, we will have a table to display those items.
  • You can either prepare your own clothing label in advance (our recommendation, so you can focus on obsessing over everyone’s outfits with us) or write it up at the event. Include on the label:
    • Estimated size/measurements
    • Pattern and fabric used
    • Name/and or social media handle if you’d like to share

Raffle Prizes

HOW IT WORKS: You will receive raffle tickets upon entry to the event, with the opportunity to win a few more raffle tickets earlier in the evening via Bingo and by donation. We will be making a charity donation after the event.
